And Mr Angry.. I'm not sure how I've missed completed photos of "ANGRIER"
I saw some "in progress" photos a while back, but now I'm going to have to go search for some completed photos..

Don,

Great job with the different two tone ideas on the Demon!

I have been trying to come up with a two tone scheme for my car,
but have only come up with one or two ways to break up the colors.

You have some cool looking ideas there..

I need to see what someone can come up with for my body style

Here's my '68 RR..........currently awaiting completely new front suspension and brakes. Trying to decide whether to go with the original torsion bar setup upgraded with 4 wheel discs or go the Alterkation route. Going to ditch the old TTIIs and go with some 18s.

Nice looking Mopars. Any build data to go along with those cars? Spring rates, shocks, sway bars, oiling system. Let's hear some Mopar tech.

Low budget, no bling for bling's sake. Pics from Spring Fling All Mopar Speed Festival 2007 and 2008 at Willow Spring in conjunction with Spring Fling http://www.cpwclub.com/springfling.html

My next steps are 275/40/17 all the way around, oil pan baffles, and getting rid of the driveline vibration that starts in at 4K rpm in high gear.

OK I know its a Dakota, W.I.P but its a mopar, hope to have something else someday if I can get rid of my wife first. the last pic is before a deer desided to run out in front of me. Its a Southern Comfort custom, just to bad it has a V6 (3.9) in it, but that will be taken care of some day.

I need to check it out the next time I'm over at Julius' before he finishes it. I've heard about it. :hail:

I remember a previous owner in NJ the used to frequent the mopar web boards.

Do you plan to bring it to a Spring or Fall Fling sometime?

Depends on when Julius gets it done.

Just went over and saw it today. With a bunch of other cool cars including a real 70 440-6 4spd RR vert and 70 hemi 4spd RR hdtp among others. Glad to see a car as rare as yours in good hands.

Didn't realize the car got to the shop not too long ago. Sound like it's waiting to get it into body and paint. Your suspension was already rebuilt, detailed, and assembled. That aircleaner is just too cool.

I'm Building up a '72 Duster. I only have the pictures of how I found it. But I'm working on my rendering so I'll Post that soon.
It had a /6 with an auto. Its getting a 360 and a 5-speed.
The first one is of the good side when I got it.

Second is the engine bay originally.

And third is the interior(you cant see the intake manifold on the floor or the messed up dash pad)

And, of course, there is the 1971 Cuda I purchased back in '94, restored to ProTouring design last year ... the Maximum Overdrive Kuda.

The first is "E-Max", a 1970 Challenger 340 Six Pack T/A Clone with a full Hotchkis TVS plus subframe connectors and tubular A-Arms, Stoptech brakes, Forgeline wheels, Yokohama Neovas and more.

They are giving a tour around the facilities, a Q & A Session with Steve Strope and Hotchkis engineers, FREE LUNCH and goodie bags.
Yokohama is sending an engineer to talk about tire technology, and they've asked one of the car care companies to send someone to talk about swirl removal (I think Mother's)

A cool free get together for So Cal Mopar people. Centrally located in Santa Fe Springs.

Steve Stroppe will be bringing the "Hammmer" car

The yellow T/A you see in the flyer will be present along with a 72 Duster that Hotchkis is developing A-body suspension parts for

There will be a gracious goodie bag for all those who bring a mopar. Including products from Mother waxes.

They are raffling off prizes for participants

LX and New Challenger owners we be there in force also. About 15 cars from thier respective online web groups alone. Hotchkis makes lots of stuff for those cars. We expect over 50 Mopars in attendence.

A participant is bringing a Hemi powered Air Raid Siren. There will be a few "demonstrations" -Hotchkis is located in a huge industrial area.

For Saturday only at the event 20% off on all Hotchkis purchases!!

Hello everyone. Im new here from upstate NY. I just recently purchased a 1973 Dodge Challenger that has a rebuilt 72 440 in it. My first purchase for the car was a set of 17x7/18x8 foose legend rims. I dropped the front a bit, and now need to get some new rear leaf springs to lower the rear. My gameplan for this car is to stroke the 440 to 510 ci, throw a 6 pack efi kit on it, back it by a tko 600 5 speed, and put a level 1 xv motorsports suspension kit on it. New paint and interior as well, but this is my starting point...

This real AAR Cuda owned by John Sandburg since 1971 won the Good Guys Illinois event. There's a picture of it in Popular Hot Rodding right now. Beat the Detroit Speed Camaro by a full second plus on a little 30 second course !!

BTW this car won the SCCA Solo II National Championship driven by John's Daughter in Law, Brandy Sandburg.

These are John's comments about the Good Guys event:

.... I joined Good Guys because I found out they had autocrosses at selected events and one of the guys in my car club was interested in the sport, but didn't know what to expect. He has several hi-po Chevys (dual quad, 4 spd 62 Impala 409 convert; dual quad, 454, El Camino, Supercharged 350 54 Chevy pickup) but didn't know much about what we do. The course was VERY basic (any entrant who can pass simple tech can run) and short (2 laps was 30 seconds). The Detroit Speed Camaro was well prepared (coil overs, blade adjustable sway bars, 4?? ci stroker modern Vette engine) and was expected to win, before the AAR showed up. We gave 8 or 10 rides and caused quite a stir. The closest car to the Cuda was a full second + behind. Friday nobody knew what to expect and Saturday we had a few vendors laying under the car trying to figure out what made a Mopar so fast. Everybody knows Mopars are drag racers. We had spectators 3 deep at the fences on Saturday. Really gave my ego a huge boost.

You did a great job on this conversion. It's just about perfect, other than needing some bigger meat on the rear...

Dang---that is the nicest 63 Dart or I've seen. I'm Mopar thru and thru but never had a liking for the early early darts (love the 68/69) but that may change it. I hope the finished product will be similar to the design intent. I sort of reminds me of the Ring Brothers Afterburner Fairlane.

Thanks, I'm glad you like. That is exactly the type of response I'm looking for, to open peoples eye's to alternative body styles, the less popular styles.

They are LED halo lights made by a company named Ultima (http://www.ultimaproducts.com/ledhaloring.html). They are actually motorcycle headlights, but they fit just fine in the B-Body because they are simply 5 3/4" lights.

Thanks, I'm glad you like. That is exactly the type of response I'm looking for, to open peoples eye's to alternative body styles, the less popular styles.

They've always been popular with me. I have had mostly A-bodies but always wanted a 1st gen dart. Actually second gen if you don't count the weird 60-62 one year body styles. The Pioneers could be cool if optioned with the right chrome trim. The 2nd gens and Darts in general were actually Mopars original Pony car challenger as they got into SCCA and then with the legendary white Hemi Darts.

I love those little cars and actually plan on pursuing ownership on a 65 Dart here in town. I'm just going to leave a note under the wiper.

I REALLY like what you did with that car Tincup. That car shows a lot of talent and eye.

Great job of going out of the "norm". Way out! A 63 Dart GT is certainly not the first car one thinks of building a Hot Rod out of. Very tastefully done by use of some great creativity.

I see a lot of little things that altogether have a big overall impact. There's a very nice flow and theme to that car. Reminds me of the cars Steve Strope at Pure Vision creates.

Way to think out of the box. IMHO, one of the visually standout cars of this thread

The body work looks great in the pics. Somebody killed themselves getting an AAR hood to fit like that. Do you have a build thread?

I am kind of computer dumb but should try and find my pics to do a build thread on here

Funny but looking back over my build thread I kept thinking "but I did so much work this looks like nothing!" But thanks for the compliments, the hood was pretty nice to start with but at that point I had done so much much gaping fixing and body work it was all just kind of falling together.
