Here are some pics of my newly painted camaro. It is painted in 2008 GM Victory Red. It looks WAY more orange under these lights then it does in natural light.

Where did you decide to get it done? I am near Houston and will be in the market for a paint job next year. Also, what kind of wheels are those? Thanks.

Should I get him to do the tail pan around the lights in black?

I prefer color for the entire tail pan . . . I assume you would use flat black? Looks very nice.

I say paint that tail-panel black.

What about gun-metal gray metallic for the tail? A tribute to the SS, but not as much contrast against the bright red. Something different, if you have an argent colored grille it would match.

Not yet... I may change my mind in a year or so - for now I am going without stripes.

Taylor That looks sweet Thats the color I decided to paint mine ( atleast this week) This is much cheaper for me than a rendering. Looks sweet!

I'll take some better pics on friday hopefully. He has buffed a couple of the panels and the interior is mostly painted. I think the doors should be hung and the hood should on by then. It may make your decision easier.

We survived the hurricane!!! hopefully things will get back on track soon. The painter is going to be busy for some time because of hurricane damaged cars so it will take a little longer to get mine complete.

How come with the doors they don't hang them and paint the whole thing at once?

he wanted to do the jamming while painting the car so that there weren't any tape lines. He does solids this way because you don't have to worry about color matching issues.
