Hi Guys
I was wondering what you guys have done for the rear bump stop
on mini tub setups, i finally pulled the old stops out of a box and determined they will not work anymore, what have you used in its place,
I have some new lower control arm stops that i thought i could use, I would just have to drill a hole in the frame rail above the axle for this to work, also i thought maybe a bracket holding a stop to the top of the axle and leaf mounts that I purchased from DSE, anyone have any other ideas or pictures of what they did for this.

Thanks

I would say that the one placed on the frame rail would be better. Try to keep it as long as the original one was.

I am not completely sure if you are saying that they will not work because the bumpstops are bad or they do not fit on the frame anymore. There should not be a fitment issue on the frame concering the bumpstops with the minitub. You could replace them if they are bad. If you use your control arm stops put an insert in the frame rail where you drilled the hole. Are those control arm stops poly or rubber? Rubber is what you need. The poly ones, the ones used on the aftermarked tubular arms, have little complience and it would be like hitting the frame if you hit them.

Whats going on is the 3rd upper hole is not there anymore for the stock mount location, notching the frame removed it, I was just wondering what others have done for this, I have some ideas and will post some pictures when its done, as for the control arm stops they are the original rubber , I realy dont like that idea anymore.

Thanks

you can run an "L" shaped bracket on the inside of your frame and bolt a universal bumper to it, or If your using a DSE shock mount, run a bump stop from competetion engineering limiter mounted to the crossmember. To bump the top of the diff.
