Im wanting to run a 10-12 inch rear wheel on a G body. What is my best option, frame notch to full tub? Do any of the tub kits offer a good ride? 4 link, ladder bar, rear coilover setup? Whats my best option, its gonna be a driver so I want it to ride good.

A 10" wheel will fit with a frame notch but for 12" you`ll need to do some surgery and put new rails and tubs in. There are a lot of options once you get to that point. Chassis Works has some trick rear frame clips with coil overs, billet arms with greaseable delrin pivots, adj. rate rear swaybar etc. Their pricing is pretty reasonable too. That`s the first thing I`d look into. Give a call if you have any other questions I`m always happy to talk about PT project cars. Mark SC&C

I did a notch with a 10" WHEEL with a 295 Tire, and it tucks. A lot of work is required to fit anything wider, as mark said.
A guy over on TurboBuick.com now offers a frame notch kit. I would have bought one of his if it was available at the time.
I am also running coilovers with the stock 4-link setup, all tubular adjustable though.

PS Last pic is a 345 wide tire. No way it would ever fit without backhalfing.

Ah. but he didn`t say 10" tire he said 10" wheel. Also what clears sitting in the shop may not clear hanging it out in a corner. I`m just sayin. Mark SC&C

A 10" wheel may fit w/o any mods, depending on BS, many turbo regal guys run 10" wheel w/o mods.

This is true, but how many of them are tucking that wheel in the wheel well?
