I need more of your advice guys. I am having and extremly tough time picking a wheel for my car. I want something that doesn't look to flashy on the car but something not to ordinary. The car will be a light silver and black top when finished. Give me your opinions on the 4 wheels that I have picked out. Let me know which one you think will look best on the car. As usual, thanks for your help guys.

Have you seen the NEwstalgia GT II's?

They have the styling of the old Halibrand Cobra's with a modern look and size. I think that would look awesome. Otherwise, I like the 3rd and 4th wheels in your lineup, because they both have an alternating spoke pattern that reminds me a little of the Halibrands. So, I think it adds a modernized look of old meets new.

#4 - I believe there is a picture of a black Mustang on www.budnik.com in the gallery with the gassers on it - looks real good. Jack

I did see those and I do like them. I just didn't like the spinners. That's why I am looking at the Budnik wheel. I'm just having such a hard time picking a wheel it unbelievable. Thanks for everyone that's chimed in. I appreciate the help.

I would have to say #2....Budniks are sweet but the Billet Spec. would look real nice on the Mustang...I wouldn't give Boyd a penny of mine.

#3. That should look wicked on that car.

67-68 stangs have squarish body lines. The wheelwells are quite round but the rest of the car has lots of squares in it. 1, 3, and 4 have triangular windows between the spokes, while on wheel number 2, the windows between the spokes are squarish. So number two is probably the best match.

What the hell am I talkin about?
Squares (I'm not recommending this wheel--just a clear example of a squarish wheel):

Triangles:

Both look good. It's just a question of whether you want to complement your car's lines or contrast them.

Anyways, I recommend number 2

I thought you could get the NewStalgia wheels without the spinners.

I still like them best.

Thanks everyone! I think I have made up my mind to go with the Chicaynes #2. It's always tough to pull the trigger on something like that if you've never seen them on the car before. Thanks for the help guys!
