You've got some work ahead of you but it's a great starter project for you and your cousin. Will keep him out of trouble and underneath a car is no better place to be.

Post pics and narratives of your progress so we can enjoy the trip.

Cheers and congrats,

Totally a perfect first car! He'll have one of the coolest cars at his high school. Not too many kids got the pleasure of having classic muscle at my high school.

Those MCE 2nd Gen cars don't get the love they deserve. Hell for $400 how can you go wrong? Nice score Darrin, and a logical starter car too. They make a gazillion OEM and aftermarket parts for them.

Has your cousin seen G28 yet?

yeah, nice score there man. totally worth the money from the looks of it. I used to have a 79 Z about 8 years ago. great cornering car for being stock. felt real good behind the wheel, and so will your cousin!

I just picked up something this past weekend too!! I'll post a new thread on it.

SEE YA AT RTTH4!
