I like the GTM Supercar. Damn great price for what you get. But then you'll need testemonials about the quality. If the quality is there It's a fantasic price.

My neighbor and a friend both have Factory Five Cobras and They seem like great kits....One is straight rear axle other is independent...Both do track days....Fast cars.....

A friend at work is building a GTM. He purchased a 2000 Corvette salvage car to get the engine and quite a few other parts needed to complete the car. It also requires that you purchase a Porsche transaxle which he said wasn't really up to handling much more horsepower than a mild build LS engine. He's not much of a car guy so I take his opinion with a grain of salt. He decided to build this kit car because he wants an supercar but can't afford to buy one. Ever since he purchased the kit he constantly mentions that he is concerned if he will be able to sell the car for what he has in it. He's never build a car before not even a basic bolt-on mod to a car. He wouldn't even do a cam swap in his 2002 Vette thinking it was too complicated. He then had the nerve to tell us he was going to buy this kit car and have it completed in six months. It's about 18 months later and the car is at paint. That must be saying something about the kit they produce if someone with no experience can do it. He will have to finish up the wiring and interior when he gets it back.

You may want to check on the availibility of the GTM, he said that they were going to stop making it due to lack of interest.

I had a FFR cobra a few years back. GREAT CAR and a GREAT COMPANY.. Also Dave Smith is a stand up guy..

If they ever build a car with a back seat I will most likely buy one.. Until my kid grows up it will be my 69 Camaro for a family hot rod..

I'm going to be moving into a new house up in NC somewhere around June 2009. I'll get my order placed as soon as I have the extra garage space...probably going to be my first winter project (we don't have winter projects here in South Florida).

A Hemi or FE motor would be so cool in that car.
