I just got some 20x8.5 for my impala. I was running 18x8.5 in the front with a 245/40/18. I drive this car daily and i was wondering if i should go with a 245/40/20 or a 255/35/20 in the front? Also my car is really low in the front. Any suggestions?

If you drive it daily nothing less than the 40 series unless you have pockets deep enough to replace the occassional bent rim.

i had 20x8.5 boyd coddington wheels on my 65 imp ss with 255 35 20 tires and they barely fit. my car was stock height and the tires rubbed a little on the wheel opening twords the front. if i had to do it again i would do 18x8 with 245 40 series in front or 19x8 with 245 35 series up front. 8.5 is the widest i think you can go up front but 8 would fit just right

no i dont i sold that car a few years ago. the 65 i have now is all stock. i would go with a 255 35 upfront a 245 would fit good but the rim might stick out a little further then i tire on the sidewall
