Is thier folks who have done the mini Tub but don't run the monster 315's or 330's.

Anyone sticking with a 295 0r a 275 on a smaller rim?
Anyone putting in the tubs and not notching the frame?
(I realse the DSE tub would not fit out of the box without a bit of modding) I am asking beacause If I didn't need inner wheel houses and didn't have shock tower issues I wouldn't be tubbing @ all. I like a big tire but not the Big big stuff I see around allot.

Just wondering what my options are...

On what car?

I'm running a stock fenderwell with 275/40ZR17 (on a 17x8.5" wheel) on the back of my 68 Camaro. It barely fits with the fender lips rolled.

Seems silly to spend 40+ hours to mini-tub the car without going the extra mile of relocating the shocks and notching the frame. Do it all the way or don't do it. It wouldn't be worth your effort not to do it all the way...save your money and time and just run the largest tire you can with what you have.

I have widened stock tubs, and only cut up to the frame rail flange. The outer lips are also rolled. The shocks are in the stock location, only moved in a little. I am running a 315.
