how much boost you planning on running?

get some good rings - hellfire are very good and can handle the load.

compression level?

how about your valves , push rods and lifters? - many people neglect those.

get a set of good cometic head gaskets

what flow rate will your heads support?

what are you doing on crankcase ventilation post blower ?

what size injectors are you going with - will they support your fuel delivery for the hp you want to make?

why did you decide on the solid roller cam?

btw - call K&N and they will do the mechanical flow on your engine for what you want to make and tell you the proper filter sizing - 650 might not be enough - you never want to choke the engine. I think 650 will only support about 450 bhp

why did you decide on the solid roller cam? custom for my appliction from crower

btw - call K&N and they will do the mechanical flow on your engine for what you want to make and tell you the proper filter sizing - 650 might not be enough - you never want to choke the engine. I think 650 will only support about 450 bhp

Cool - thanks for the answers - all looks good.

have you considered a hydraulic cam?

you might want to bump up to 90 lb injectors.

maker sure your valves are hardened.

I am going to a vacuum pump on mine - I did not have one and it definately makes a difference - epecially under a good bit of boost - good decision.

thanks for your help

a hydraulic cam setup typically emliminates ongoing adjustment of the valve train.

you can do some simple calculations on your fuel delivery at most injector sites to determine if the injectors will deliver the fuel to support the horsepower you are looking for. then you wont have to eat a set of used injectors if you have guessed at it. You dont want to starve a boosted engine - that is when parts start flying in the inside of it.

Also - forgot to ask - are you putting an intercooler on this ?
