LS throttle pedal

Every LS install article I've seen in the last year has mentioned that GMPP makes a wiring harness, computer and a nifty throttle pedal that works with both cable and DBW throttle bodies.

I've scoured Scoggin Dickey's and GMPP's website and I must be not using the right search terms because I'll be damned if I can find it.

Anyone seen it?

LS7 controller and harness kit - Part number 19166567

(LS7 and LS2 kits are identical except the controllers)

LS3 controller and harness kit - Part number 19201861
(LS3 has its own harness and controller)

All kits include the following:
Controller*
Engine Harness
Mass Air Flow Meter - same as factory LS7 and others
Mass Air Flow Meter Mounting Boss
Accelerator Pedal Assembly - CTS pedal with sensor
Oxygen Sensor (Qty 2 Per Kit) - same as LS3 LS7
Oxygen Sensor Mounting Boss (Qty 2 Per Kit)
Instruction Kit

* Note - This controller will not function in a production vehicle unless all kit components are used and will not operate production gauges.

One additional note is this ECU from GMPP is not reprogramable (tuneable). Not a big deal for me as I plan on running the GMPP Hot Cam LS3 and not making any changes after I recieve it. Makes for a relatively easy DIY install. Just thought you might want to know. Also, street price is somewhere between $800 - $900 for the kit.

So then one can just add the sensors in various spots and run standard type Autometer electric gauges, then correct? I'm prepping for an LS2 build in a 74 Chevelle Laguna at the present time.

The throttle pedal is one or the other if I'm not mistaken. I modified a 4th gen pedal for my cable driven LS1.

As far as the computers being tuneable, if you get it flashed with a CTS V SN you can then use HP tuners. The instructions that come with the GMPP kit mention the year of CTS that is programmed into the computer.

Matt,

that mean's the controller is completely tuneable? It's not like you're restricted to certain type of engines w/o mods?

I myself am in the market for a LS2 with L92 heads and cam/spring package and this may turn out to be the way to go. Providing offcourse that I can tune it.

Here is a quote from LS1tech.com

" We had to load a VIN from a '06 CTS-V with GM Tech II tool and then we were in business. We used HP Tuners after that to tune it. I was worried that some of the connections in the bulkhead connector would not work after all this, but all of the ones I'm using are still working. The VSS output somehow changed because my speedo was reaing way high after we flashed the ECM over to the new files and I had to recalibrate it. Other than that is was pretty much trouble free."

Once you get a vin# in the computer your home free to use tunning software as needed for any mods.
