I had my 2002 Camaro harness re-worked by wait4meperformance.com..

It did not come with an OBD II plug or Check Engine light. The wires are there though..

They said I can use any OBDII plug. Doesn anyone have one or know the GM part number??

Also as far as a Check engine Light can I use and LED light??

Thanks

You can buy a pigtail version of it from several sellers on ebay.

Go to a junk yard and cut the ALDL(Assembly Line Data Link, what you're calling an OBDII plug) out of any gen3/4 car. They are all the same. Yes, you can use an LED for the SES light. Make sure you put a resistor on it though as it is 12v or use a 12v LED.

I used a led and it glows faintly when not lit.

Here is a link to pigtail.

Somethings not completely correct with your wiring then because we use LEDs for swaps all the time no problem. I'm not good enough with electronics to know what could be the issue though.
