Car transporters???Who to use?

Does anyone have any reccomendations on who to use to have my newly aquired 68 Malibu transported from Bourbonnais IL. TO Knoxville TN.If so please let me know because I've listed it on Uship.com but you just never know who you'll get that way.Thanks

I have used DAS,once with good results once not good results.

Allied for a motorcycle with no problems

I have Reliable Auto carriers bringing my Z06 because the guy I bought it from already had it set up and they got it the same day I bought it.

I have used small indepindant guys found on anouther Forum with great results but you never know where they are when you call them or how long it will take them to get to you.

The fact is you COULD have a problem with ANY carrier you choose.......

Just a fyi...whoever you use make sure you check and see that their licensing and info is current with the DOT.

I have used many different transporters and I would recommend either Pilot Transport or FedEx.

Thanks for all of the input,I have hired a company to haul the car I just can't remember the name at the moment because I got so many quotes.I did make sure thier DOT liscense was up to date and that the car was insured also they use the same driver for pick up and delivery.I still have to pray that everything goes well.They said the car would be picked up in 1-7 days and take 1-3 days for delivery.Ishould have the car in time to drive it to Pigeon forge for the Shades of the past show and the Grand Run.I have never been to the RTTH event I'll just have to see if I can hook up wit some of you on saturday.

I've had good luck with Fed Ex Auto Transport and Intercity Lines, used both several times.
