Hi guys,
Here is my very long term project. I don’t have much money for this so most of the work will be done by me. Which is why it is long term. Below is what I started with.

And here is where the body is now.

Luckily it was mostly surface rust. I’ll have to get new fenders, trunk lid and hood but the nose is fixable. There are some holes around the window channel. The ps qtr. Panel was dented around the turn signal and the lower tail panel was hit and repaired, but not very well. Both of these will be cut out and replaced. I have a question about the tail panel patch that I'll post in the Paint & Body section.
All the of the misc. parts have been sandblasted (suspension, Subframe, etc.) and coated with POR-15.
Here is my plan:
Mechanical:
C5 Brakes – I have already bought stuff and modified the spindles. I’ll do the rear swap soon.
Pontiac 455 – looking at EFI but it may be too much.
Overdrive Auto Trans. – would like 4l60e but may have to be 200-4r
Rear is 10-bolt with 3:73 posi – I got this used so I’ll have to go though it
Subframe Connectors – I’m looking at the Art Rasmussen type
Smoothed firewall
Vintage Air
Lowering springsInterior:
Updated with 4th gen interior like 71FirebirdLS1’s interior
May see if I can find GTO seats.Exterior:
It’ll be white BC/CC with custom graphics so I can clear over it all.
I’m having trouble with which wheels to buy. I love look of Torq Thrust Classics on these cars but they are everywhere. It seems to be hard to find wheels for white cars.I know I’ve left things out but you get the idea. Let me know what you think.
