I am trying to decide which suspension direction to go inon a 68 Malibu.I plan on using the car to travel to some Goodguys shows and local cruises but I would also like the car to handle decent.I have almost determined the AFX spindles are a little overkill for me.I wondered if I should be leaning towards a Hotchkis TVS,SC&C STAGE 2 WITH SHORT SPINDLE,Eibach pro kit,or OPG'S 2" LOWERING SPRINGS.I would like for the car to set pretty low but also carry all of my luggage (and the wife's luggage too) without beating us to death. My last small block Malibu had Eibach springs and I thought it performed pretty good and rode good.I just don't have much to compare it to and was wondering if the roadrace kits were just too much for my application.I might also mention that I'm getting ready to build a new house so it would be a while before I have the funds to go the high zoot route. Please give me your input I value your opinions.

The full TVS kit is hard to beat. I have a 67 Chevelle on my website with full TVS and I am doing a 70 Chevelle convertible tomorrow with full TVS and Speedtechs brand new Chevelle control arms. They look REALLY nice!
With the Hotchkis / Bilstein shocks, combine that with some Speedtech upper arms, throw in a Hotchkis premium steering kit and a good fast ratio box, and it is a badd ass ride. Rides good, handles good, great combination.
And we have a little Hotchkis deal right now so you can save some $$$$$
