My God the animals are marching 2 X 2 out here! The rain from Fay has been relentless and there saying were going to get 8 more inches tonight! We are OK so far, but they are devistated in Brevard county (45 miles south) with 25" of rain in a day!

Were on a little river and it rising. We have tall jackstands for Projects Prodigy and EmptyNest in the garage! UGH! That could be one ugly insurance claim!

I guess I will up tonight watching the river rise!

About 2 more feet before it is in the house!

Better put some life vests on the dogs!

Since we're on the subject, this is a great Cosby routine I will always remember. Really ties in well at the end.

I was thinking about you guys. I checked the weather a few days ago to see if fay was gonna come up the coast and mess up my weather, then I saw it was projected to hit the panhandle on sat. holy crap, that storm is going like 2 mph.

Good luck.

Well, the news just said the river is at flood stage as is going to rise. Hope this does not get ugly. 4 years ago it was 2 more inches and would have been in the house. House has flood insurance, cars are insured, but I am more worried about the cars, LOL! And my computer!

Don't worry Larry, the shop is high and dry

Good luck Frank !

You can always evacuate to Ga. for a while.
I been hoping for some rain at my house , but so far none has come up my way.
My grass is drying and dying.
You're welcome at my place.
I'll help you evacuate some cars too.
I'll come down with a truck and trailer.

So things are getting worse quick. The water continues to rise and has come up a good 18" since last night. The rain is stopping but the problem is all the lakes that drain through our river to the St Johns river. They are talking about the St Johns peaking on Tuesday!

We had a flash flood in the street when the river got high enough flowed between some lower houses. So we are on a island now. So we got a few cars out, and I was able to get my open trailer in to haul out the ones in the garage if I need to.

If the water rises another 6 inches, were moving them. UGH! I will need to get a storage though, the shp is slammed full protecting all the other cars were working on! Shop is high and dry.

I was able to drive some of them out, Pour Monte Carlo!

This is not getting eaiser, LOL! The big truck jerked it out. I am over this ****!

About 6 more inches will be all we can drive through

Water rose 4" over night. If it rises 4" a day until Tuesday were screwed. Another 6" and it will probably become un passable for even my 2500 4 X 4!

So is it better to be blocked out or blocked in? UGH!

I think were all good now. Water started reseading ever so slightly. I suspect it will be a couple weeks of driving through water, but at least it is not rising, and most important, the cars are safe!

Our biggest problem now is getting behind. I had some things to do to EmptyNest before Run Thru the Hills. More tuning, Change a fricken clutch, UGH!, misc shake down stuff. With all the other cars going, it might make it hard on us now to get that one there. Whatever, I guess it could be worse!

Thanks all, We really love our extended family here.

Hey no problem Tony. I was actually knee deep in water when you called the second time. Not your fault at all. I just wanted to answer quick and not ignore the call. Then I got swapmped, quite literally.

The water is going down and the police and St John's River managment came by this evening and assured us we are safe now.

Call me tomorrow and we can get your wheels going.
