it's been discussed here before. he makes alot of claims, but hasn't offered any proof yet.
he probably does get 80miles per gallon of gas, then you add the 5 gallons of ethanol he's using...

used to be 110 mpg.what happened?reality must be setting in.
i belive the x prize rules ask for 100mpg for gas and like 66mpg for e-85 which i think he's using. to bad he's using a mustang lol
