That guy had some HUGE gonads to steal that thing out in the public eye like that. And how is it someone didn't notice what he was doing?
In any event, this guy was a pro and I would be surprised if that car wasn't sitting in a shipping crate right now on some dock along the eastern seaboard.

It seems like the only way to keep them from stealing your car and wondering where it went these days would be to make it a kidnapping charge to go along with it :hand:
All of the municipalities in our area our voting on concealed carry, I think it is about time and a good start to make theives have to be scared of of good people for a change.

What is wrong with people???
It is actually easier to steal in broad day light as people just don't question as much as if you see someone around a car in the dark with a flashlight.

That's why I bring along my "Active Alarm System"...my Pit Bull !
She does tend to wreak havoc on the door lock knobs in my El Camino when someone is near the car ! LOL ! You should see people run when she bites the lock knob and unlocks the door :scared: .

I parked at Woodward with a Ford group and one guy Almost had his whole rig stolen. A 1963 Galaxie that runs 9s and his Ford truck and enclosed trailer. The theives broke in the truck and destroyed the ignition but never got it to start, he was lucky.

Yea, I can't believe I lost my keys and can't unlock my security devices so I can just go home. Man am I so stupid, I am sure glad I had a cell phone to call this flat bed company to take me and my car home:) .
People will actually help the theives steal your car these days with the right excuses.

I believe it could happen fairly easily. In the Marines we would take parts that were hard to get from other trucks from different units to get a vehicle running that was needed at the time. We were never caught because when questioned we knew what we were doing & acted like we belonged there. Sometimes we even borrowed tools from the unit we were raiding parts from.
We also replaced the stolen parts when they came in right under thier noses.

yup pretty much.. if you look like you know what you're doing you can pretty much do anything.
I was breaking into my own car one night, and no one said a thing... and 30 people must of seen me... no cops nothing...
