Please tell me that those vids are as old as the cars themselves, with the way those things are set-up (stance, paint schemes, tires etc...)

gotta love another country's culture embracing ours. It may be a bit dated, but at least they are saying what we did then is cool to them now.

Tony, those videos show that '79's get plenty of love. It's the '77's that don't get any love whatsoever. At least mine gets a tiny bit of affection from me.

i cant beleve that car didn't pull the wheels when he came out of the burn out,????? it had wheelie bars on it!!! come on GUY. the car is amazing looking. youall sure did some nice work.

I used to have a '79 Z28 with a factory 4-speed.
Wish I had never sold it.

Same here my 80 z/28 gets no love (all i get from my non car guy friends is the smokey and the bandit thing (dude that was a firebird)... and I see so many stupid rednecks on u-tube with busted-ratty ass 2gen camaros doing stupid one wheel burn outs......acting stupid. i really dont see that many good examples of our cars out there like i see with the 1st gen cars ...

That was great article. I'm looking at going a similar route with my 81.
