Guys- Is there anywhere I can find a bunch of pics of the Red Witch? I used the search, and went through all those threads and only a few came up. that car has always been my favorite and I'm looking for some insparation to get my 67 going again (hasn't moved in about five years). Saw the car breifly at Hot August Nights this year, but forgot the camera. Now I'm jones'n for pics. Also looking for info on suspension on the car. Thanks for any help. Jason

Red Witch doesn't have a web site. You are thinking of Big Red. I'm out of town but have some pics at home. Suspension is pretty simple, Mini tubbed with Landrum leaf springs, GM front sub with Corvette spindles and Detroit Speed a-arms with coil overs.

Was Red Witch one of the first ones Steilow built? Was this one covered by PHR or anyone else? I'll go search too but I'm terrible with searches for some reason.

Red Witch was Hot Rod Magazines "Car of the Year" in 1996.

As in stock Camaro sub frame? And aren't Corvette's front steer cars? Any idea how those spindles were fit? Thanks for the info guys. Jason

Corvette was rear steer in the C2/3 generation. C4 became front steer with a rack and pinion system.

very cool car. Amazing as I remember seeing that car on the cover of Hot Rod, and then becoming friends with the current owner and the guy who built it. Who'd a thunk........................ :woot:
