that is why we get 25% down and bill every two weeks, they dont pay work stops so you can never get far behind. There are a lot of guys like this one and they just ruin everything for the shops who are trying to make an honest living. Good luck and plaster this guy everywhere to let peple know about him.

I agree too...its the shops fault for letting the bill get that high without some sort of payments. I don't even remember reading that he put any money down when the car was dropped off.

I'm around 5k into my engine rebuild and havent paid anything for it yet except for parts I purchased else and brought to them hopefully I'll be paying for the engine tomorrow and picking it up before I head out to woodward to bad I cant take the GTO :-(
though I was surprised the shop didnt request any funds along the way

That's rough. I am surprised the shop didn't get some compensation up front.
You know, I hate it for the shop but it looks as if the shop has some learning to do. Not only in how to run a business but how to make a website that shows their work. The pictures of the car are hideous. How does a shop expect to get customers with crappy pictures of their quality work?
The kid's a complete douche and will hopefully end up in jail for what he's done.
