is it possible to save original paint

might be purchasing a car that i looked at today.its been repainted in green and the original color is marina blue.is it possible to some how strip off the green and leave the blue?if so what is the best way to go about it?

I would personally say that there is no way. That is unless it's a one day autobody type of job you know the self sanding paint some of these cheapo places use. I mean the prep it for paint in 30 minutes or less.:scared: If thats the case a good pressure wash will usually do the job rather quickly. Really the chances of it not being sanded through during the prep are really slim to none
