I've put cadillac callipers on the back of my 68 camaro to get a parking brake (you have to have one by law in the UK). I now have a long pedal and the rears arent effective, which I'm guessing is due to a difference in brake volume? (They have been bled 4 or 5 times). Can anyone tell me what size master cylinder I should have with these brakes?

Hard to say for sure without more info, but it probably should be a 1 1/8" disc/disc master.

Make sure your rear calipers are adjusted up and that the slot in the piston lines up with the tit on the pad.

I have the same Calipers on the rear of my Chevelle. I had to cycle the parking brake several times to adjust the piston in the caliper properly. Once I had done that It was suggested to preload the parking brake cable so the lever on the caliper had just started to move. This seem to work for me the, pads don't drag and the pedal is firm with a good feel. The master I use has a 1-1/8" piston disc/disc master.
The system works quite well once its set up right.
