So I got my set of DSE Leaf Springs (2" Drop) installed... And sure enough I need about 1" more of drop to be happy. I should probably just take the leafs off, press the bushings out, send the leafs back to DSE and get the 3" Drop Leafs.
But... I thought of putting a 1" lowering block on, but I am running Baer Brakes w/ the E-Brake and if I put the lowering block on the e-brake mechanism is going to run into the lower shock plate (see red marks in picture). I can probably take a cutting wheel and trim off the back part of the shock plate, but I am going to cut it reaaaaaaal close with the nut on the u-bolt.
Does anybody run lowering blocks w/ these brakes? What did you do?
I know... I should just suck it up, remove the leafs, send them back to DSE and get the 3" drop leafs. Ugh.
Here is where the brake will run into the shock plate...

Here is how the car sits with the DSE 2" drop leafs... Need about another 1" drop - Huh??
