You can sell POSITIVE FEEDBACK on eBay?
Is it me or does this look like the perfect tool for scammers.
WTF? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of getting feedback. Looks like the going rate is $1 per a pos feedback.
Just when you think you've seen it all... :ripped:

My Dad just sold his old Commodore Pet 2001 Series computer on eBay for $730 to a guy in Spain. He paid $650 for it new in 1979. I sold my junky, old, cracked stock steering wheel off my Camaro for $65 to a guy in Traverse City.
eBay has taken the old mantra "One Man's Junk Is Another Man's Treasure" to a whole new level.
Don't know what it's worth or even if you can sell it?
Put it on eBay.

Here's another one... 'Feedback Designs'... geez. Ebay shouldn't allow it.

I think these auctions are not for the feedback themselves but rather for the feedback templates so you can have different style fonts, and weird designs in your feedback.

I think so too, but there are other wrong ones out there.

No, because I've been tracking a guy I was thinking of buying from All of a sudden he went from 1 to 9 pos feedback.
I checked his auction and they are all for this sort of deal. They sell "vapor" for .99 cents and then give you positive feedback. It's a way around the system.
See, here it is again. You buy a digital picture that they email to you and then give you positive feedback. It's a sneaky way around the system and perfect for scammers to use. For 50-100 bucks they look like a trustworth seller.

Ya, its always best to check all the auctions that the feedback was left for. Hopefully ebay will eliminate these auctions & adjust their feedback accordingly. I get spoof or "phished" ebay and paypal emails every day- sometimes 2 or 3 a day. If you guys get these, or see any scam auction- like the "buy it now" mint cond 1st gen's for $7000- to
[email protected]. and
[email protected].

I always report scams immediately and Ebay is pretty good about taking them
down by the next day. Most people don't seem to know you can report them in
just a few moments.
At the bottom of each listing's page, there's a "Report this item" link. You
choose what type of problem, including scams and give a short description.
There's already a category for buying/selling feedback, so this is neither
a new scam nor allowed by Ebay.
I also reported the above listings.

Well I got a reply. Seems they know about it and are cracking down. They took care of the guy selling feedback responses but the other two that are selling feedback designs are still up and running.
