Have a friend with 98 Camaro with a V6. How much trouble is it to swap in V8?
not terrible but it's cheaper to simply buy a V8 model unless this V6 has lot of other work done to it to personalize it.
I would suggest heading over to frrax.com and see what info you can find there. That's an Fbody road race and auto-x board. A couple of people there have done the swap and can give you plenty of insight. It's not hard by any means, there's just a lot of little things that need be addressed

It's a pretty easy swap. There used to be a chart floating around that told what was needed for each year fbody for LS1 swap. IIRC all you need to do is just use a 98 engine harness and that's it. No wiring adapting or anything. Also, I don't think the 98 V6 cars had dbw like the later v6 either...so that's a plus.
