So i've got this mean little daily driver i like to have fun with.
It's an 89 s10, reg cab, shortbox, 2 wheel drive. it's got a fresh 4.3, a rebuilt 700r4 with a shift kit, been lowered with a mix of factory performance parts and aftermarket parts tired into the brakes and suspension, and it rolls on Camaro RS wheels. Its currently a little rough in the paint and body end of things, but its clean for being in the midwest all it's life.

Here it is...

the interior is shaping up well though...

So, other than a cam and a double roller timing chain to advance the timing, the engine is pretty well stock. Pondering putting a ported TBI off a 350 onto it and maybe a sniff of nitrous, like 50 horse. But first things first, i need to ditch that factory air cleaner setup. Looking to build a cold air intake, cuz they dont make one to just buy, and cuz i like to test fabrication skills. I picked up this hat from a friend...

it's got a 3 1/2" outlet on it. Gonna get myself a K&N 3.5 inch cone filter. Now, where can i find tubing and those silicone (or are they rubber) joints? Thanks for entertaining my ideas.

I have a K&N Series 77 intake on my Saturn, and I LOVE it. Should be able to find piping at any shop that does exhaust work
