I'm 17 years old and don't know much of anything. My hope is that I could learn a few things from you guys. I'm the proud owner of a 71 firebird thats stripped down to sheetmetal, with a completely disassembled 350 from a 76. I'm open for suggestions and ideas. All help is appreciated.

Welcome to the site Steve!
Since your car is already stripped, now would be the time to concentrate on the body, rust repair etc. Take things one step at a time, and don't get ahead of yourself. Follow the first step to completion before jumping into other parts of the project.
Planning will go a long way toward toward finishing your car the way you want it, so start thinking about how you want to build the car. Maybe have a rendering done so you have a picture of how you want the car to look. Have a plan for the mechanicals as well so you can keep your eyes and ears open for good deals on parts.
You will find a lot of help here. Use the search button first, and you will likely find answers to your questions without posting the same old questions. (members here will appreciate that)
Also, try asking specific questions and you will get better responses.
Good luck with your new project!

Hi Steve, welcome to the site. You'll find lots of guys willing to help, especially with such an open-minded attitude.
Good luck, and keep asking questions. I'd guess you don't have much money to upgrade the car, but at least the 2nd gen F-bodies have pretty good suspension from the factory.
Have fun learning!

"Planning will go a long way toward toward finishing your car the way you want it"... Best advice...seriously. When I was at Super Shops (RIP) whenever someone came in and said they had big ideas and wanted to know what they should buy first, and how much to spend...my answer was $1.00, spend that on a notebook and write down all of your ideas and wants....if you change something, you can go back to original idea and so on. Its like the carpenters always say, measure twice cut once. Oh and welcome.

That's got the smartest thing a 17 year old has ever said! lol
Steve welcome to the site. Tons of good info and good people here. I too came into this not knowing a thing about it. Everyone here has been very supportive and helpful. While I don't know much, I'll do what I can to help. Post some pictures when you get the chance so we can watch your project take shape.

Welcome Steve,
you've definately come to the right place. The guys (and gals) here are more than willing to help. Listen to them, there are a lot of great ideas here and most of the people here have already gone through what your going to experience. Just don't be afraid to ask questions because like I said, I'm sure someone here's already done that...
