Does anyone out there know if the 2nd generation Camaro/Firebird front subframe will interchange with the 75-79 Nova/Skylark/Omega/Ventura X-body front subframe? Is there a Hollander number that can be used to determine this?
Let me know, Randy

Rumor is yes, save for some cosmetic differences like bumper mounts, ect. Nothing that would stop a good hot rodder. I however have no Hollander number to support this assertion. anyone else?

While dimensionally similar, the body mounts and core support area are different.

Thanks for the frame info. Some of us X-Body guys have been talking, and we were hoping GM built them similar enough that we could use some of the lightweight replacement subframes with the updated brake and suspension packages, even if they had to be modified slightly to get everything to fit right. I look forward to seeing the 2nd Generation F-body sheet as well. Thanks, Randy
