paint looks awesome... I'm wondering, though, why did you mask off the outside of the car when painting jambs?

IMHO, Marina Blue is the perfect color for a 66-67 Chevelle.
Great job.

Car looks great after the paint. Just curious what is going on in the trunk hinge pic? Did the trunk lid get pulled back off for painting the underside? If so why have it on there in the first place for the hinge paint. Not knocking just wondering?

Any plans for frame, chassis and suspension?

The color is one of favorites too.I had a 71 in high school that was repainted a blue polymist cadillac color. Is it a color change? I attached a pic of my 67.

thanks
mike

The jambs are shot first to keep overspray off of the outside, then it is reverse taped, and the entire outside can be shot at once. My buddy has a custom paint shop, and he did the bodywork and paint, and it was done in a couple of weeks, rather than sitting for months or years in "Bodyshop Jail" It is looking better every day.
