I'm not sure if this is the right place for it but there's alot of traffic here so I'll try.
I have an 05 Chevy Siverado that does not get driven much except on weekends. The last few times that I have driven it, the volt meter seems to be acting up. Upon start up and for the first couple of miles, the volts are normal and then for no reason the meter will start to creep up and has actually pegged a couple of times.
I think that it is just the gauge acting up due to the reason that the lights do not get brighter or dimmer i.e. everything seems fine. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what this might be? gauge just screwing with me?
Your input / opinions might be helpful.
