i found a cheap rear end which i could bolt up to the nova so i can move it. it came off a 77 firebird...any chance the leaf springs would fit a 70? i know its a longshot but hey lol

The springs should work, and be an inch shorter than stock. The perches on the housing and the axle itself will be too wide.

One inch wider in total, if I remember correctly.
