Follow along with the build of our '62 Chevy Nova. Below are pics of the car in the "As Received" condition and in bare metal. The car was displayed in bare metal last week at 2008 Goodguy Columbus. Check out the final rendering by well known artist Jason Rushforth. We've worked with Jason on other projects. This project was a treat because Jason now has his own line of wheels (www.rushforthwheels.com (http://www.rushforthwheels.com)). The wheels on the Nova are "Whiplash".

Cool rendering. Are the hood vents (?) from a '69 Chevelle?

BossaNova,
Great eye - yes, they are Chevelle hood vents.

Everyone else - thanks for the compliments. Glad to be on this site.

Damn those Rushforth wheels are sick, I don't think they make an ugly wheel.

The stance is set to kill.

I apologize PROFUSELY for digging up an old thread, but...

They're still around - the owner's an old friend from HS. I know he's been doing a lot of vintage drag racing, and they just finished a '57 Chevy. I'd love to see what the Nova looks like now too...

I saw them at the last Columbus GG and they had a really nice fiberglass corvette body kit in their booth.

Hello Everyone,
HiTek Hot Rods is still alive and kicking. The economy has been rough and therefore we have been finishing up some customer projects and letting our Nova take a back seat. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the Nova when you see it next. Also visit us at www.hitekhotrods.com and see our updated website.

The car has 22's in the rear and 19's in the front. Tremec 5-speed and a wicked stance without air bags or aftermarket frame.:machine:
