I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dean and I install hard surfaced floors as an independant contractor.I'm 36 ,married, 5 yes 5 kids (blended family). My metal skills are limited, however I can keep my shop buddy's wives happy with their house projects and they work on my stuff. Seams to be a win win situation. Anyways here goes.
The tow rig and work truck is 1996 f350 diesel. 4 inch lift and 35's with 20's. Next is the 1998 cobra mustang. I smoked the ring lands on 3 cylinders on the stock motor by adding an intercooled vortech supercharger. So now it's been totally gone through, billet oil pump gears, custom made 8 rib pulleys, stage 3 race port heads,je pistons, manlyrods, all arp fasteners, aeromotive fuel system upgrade, hooker 1 3/4 longtube ceramic coated, offroad x-pipe,electric dumps and borla stainless side exhaust after that,04 cobra black on black interior, autometer gauges also a retro fitted mach 1000 sub system along with 2 6 volt optima batteries in the trunk. I'm sure I missed some stuff but you get the gist of it.(money pit).Last is the 1965 mustang. The red car was retired in 1974 and already had patch panels on the drivers floor.I saved the vin and the roof section and grafted it onto a not so rusty coupe. The marriage of parts went very well. Once the roof was transplanted i began to fix the limited rust or so I thought. It turned out to be both rear quarters, tail light panel, trunk floor, both full floors, both full rockers and a total custom front end. It'll have a 2001 cobra interior, bfg 275-40-17 fronts and 315-35-17 rears and with a triangulated 4 link coilover rear suspension. Working on shoehorning a 1970 429 scj 4bolt main a460 headed motor combo in the hole. It'll be 500+ cubes.
