I want to run 18's on my 1970 chevelle. The only problem is, the wheels I chose seem to have too much "BLING-BLING" to them.So now I'm confused.
What I want to run is 18x9's And 18x10's.
Any help would be appreciated.

check out Iforged.com. they have some awesome 3 piece wheels that are more race looking and not bling bling. those are what I ended up going with. they might take a couple months to get because each wheel is made to fit your car but they are well worth it. they also have 2 piece that are a bit cheaper and you can still have the rivets added for the race look.
just an idea!

An 18x9 front with 5.25"-5.5" backspacing and a 18x10 rear with 5.5"-5.75" backspacing will fit that 70 Chevelle like a glove. As for front tires, a 255-275 will work fine. On the rear a 295-305 will work.

protouing70, what makes them bling? You have chosen a functional wheel diameter for the PT application. You like them, why not get them?

Boyd Coddington and Budnik have some very tasteful wheels that would suit what you need for a middle of the line price. They also have options on finishes, so it's not like you have to chrome everything, a nice machine or satin finish should do you well.

I really like the last one. You'll need a set of monster brakes behind any of those giant spokes or it will look goofy.

I have always been a big fan of the GTX billet specialties wheels.
There was a guy awhile back who had a green chevelle with flames. maybe he will post here. The wheels he had on this chevelle were killer.
I agree, you will need some nice rotors behind those wheels.
