Hello,

I looking for someone with an inside contact at Chris Alston's Chassisworks.

I have been waiting for the new G-Link kit for the 1969 Camaro since March. Every month I call in and every month I get the same answer. Try back next month.

Either they are having a ton of issues with the kit or it is a very low priority for them. My car has been sitting on jack stands since April waiting on the kit. Motor is back in, mini-tube is done, interior is back in, etc.

It is obvious to me now; I should have gone with the DSE kit. This is still an option, but I would have to pull the interior back out.

Any information other than "try next month" would be appreciated.

Can you tell I am little frustratred? Are there any other alternatives?

Thanks,

Phillip

that sounds just like Marquez on their dash. Every time you call you get the answer "very close". Been hearing that for 8 months now.

Id buy the DSE if I was you.

Well, I am about as close to the situation as anyone and that is the answer I am getting also. We just have to wait, or I can set you up with a G bar or Qualdralink if you need.

I know the second I install the old G-bar, the new kit will be release. I really like the idea of the new kit being adjustable.

I was tempted to wait for the new kits as well, but I just went ahead and went with a G-Bar rather than wait. Since my car is more of a street car than a track car, it didn't seem like such a big deal to wait for the new kits.

We`ve been bugging Chassisworks about the G-Link regularly. We`ve got a bunch of pre orders for them and want to fill them ASAP. No hard date yet but at least there`s no bad news. They seldom give updates until the prts are ready to ship but they usually will tell us if there`s a holdup. We`re hoping they`ll be ready later on this month but... Mark SC&C
