Used to be that bragging rights, with regards to vehicles, was related to performance. "My cars faster than yours". Or related to looks. "My car looks better than your turd".

But appearantly the ricer crowd is trying desperately to latch onto one more claim over american muscle. That's right "Gas Mileage"

Besides Turbohaulics inability to construct an gramatically correct thought. I guess it's now popular to slam people for not getting above 20 mpg's.

I guess it's not cool enough now these days just for your car to be able to roast it's "rear" tires and leave people sitting in the dust.

Perception of performance, muscle, show car and anything else a classic car is or has been changes so much. How long has Pro-Touring been around? I don't think mileage has ever been an issue, well except in 1974 or "pre-ricer era". :candle:
