Hey All,
I just joined. I am in the middle of Suspension work to get my Black '68 RS SS Camaro to hook up with this Awesome Tranny! Nothing special, just Shockwaves up front to lift my 502 Ram Jet off the Ground. Wow! Big Blocks are HEAVY! I've always been a small block guy getting ready for the release of the LSX Tall Deck Block! Then my Pops gave my his new still in crate 502 Ram Jet. GO DAD!! I immediately ordered the right headers, and oil pan, Installed FAST XFI, Digital Dash/Data Logger, FAST Distributor, etc. and Got this 502 Running STRONG!! As soon as I get a rollcage... rear shocks, and a few other misc. items.....I will be installing Nitrous and running it via XFI. Yes, I am still running stock 10 bolt, (there are so many options on 9"ers, so I am waiting to get a complete bolt in kit for my new rear shockwaves to go with.) The hardest part of all this is.....I have no shop anymore! and working on your car Outside in the Heat with Everyone stopping by that wants to race/look/talk smack, etc. is just Hard To Do! It is HOT & HUMID in Mississippi !! So, I'm new, and hope to help and learn from Everyone!
If you know of any shops close to me that do good work let me know! I have more cars I am working on.
