Is there a kit that puts a nice disc brake setup on a 62 Olds Starfire? Just wondering if it is the same as Impala?

SSBC has kits for a lot of older big cars. Here is a link to something close to what you have. You might want to contact them to make sure it will fit. Wilwood and Baer also have kits, you'll just have to do some searching. Good luck

BTW, nice ride you have. I like the old starfires and jetstars. I've always wanted a 65 with a 4 speed.

If it is the same as an Impala, Frank from Prodigy can hook you up.

I'm pretty sure Scarebird Mechanical has something for you.

:worship: You guys are fast and awesome. Do you happen to know what type of calipers the scarebird kit uses? Also it says 61-69 Olds with hubs $265.00, WTF? That seems very reasonable. This car sucks with drums it will throw you through the Windshield. I will try and post some pics it is definetly different and cool. Grandpa bought new from McKelvey Kessler Olds and she has 82,000 on the clock. 394 with a Slim Jim 3 spd. auto. If he only knew I was comptemplating pro touring his ride, God Bless His Soul.

Scarebird usually sells caliper brackets and some adapter stuff to make it work, then recommends you go get OE calipers, rotors, bearings, seals, and hoses to complete the job. We did one on a '62 Buick that used '70s GM full size parts, and the whole job was like $350.00. Here's that story...
