I see a patern here:

I guess they were trying to pay homage to the Michael Keaton version... couldn't be a coincidence. Ya think?

that's pretty crazy how they go hand in hand like that. These latest two batman movies are great. The original one was great too.

sorry guys but there are a ton of movies with scenes like that. (car chases, tall buildings, guy on top of a building) throw in the same 2 main characters and how do you NOT have similarities?

Did you actually watch the two trailers? Having a Batman shot, an explosion, a car crash, and the Joker clips at pretty much the exact same time in each trailer? Hate to say it, but that was done on purpose. I don't think it just "comes out that way".

sorry, i missed that they were the actual unaltered trailers. i thought it was an amalgamation of scenes from the movies.
that is pretty cool then.

...same DC comic....same DC story....same Batman Story....same Batman writers...im not surprised. I'll have to watch the old one after I watch the new one to see if the movies are similar too. Bet they are.

Can't wait.

IT'S FAKE. It's a fan made trailer. The guy who made it synced them up as much as possible.

THIS is the original batman movie trailer. And its positively horrible. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AdEHOta-Uc&feature=related)

I don't think that's a real trailer either Tony. Some on youtube are saying it's not. Also, there maybe more than one trailer. I ultimately don't care. Dark Knight is going to rock.

What is the obsession with Batman anyways? What're we up to? 7 now?

I'm still waiting for a Captain America, Daredevil and Elektra weren't great to begin with... nor was the punisher.

Iron Man was so-so.

I think the whole thing with batman is that the first ones weren't as good as they could have been.

Captain america is going to be great. I thought Iron man was pretty good for an intro movie...I don't understand the re-hulk. But I like how they're linking the movies together to create sort of a movie universe.

i think it's for 2 reasons. unlike almost all superheros he has no powers and is actually human. and he's really pissed off!!! just like most of us. the other superhero's are too nice.

I for one can't wait to see it. Christain Bale is the prefect batman. The GF and i will be going opening night for sure.

Don't get me wrong. I personally think Batman Begins was the best of t he series. Call it the vague origins, the ninja training, maybe just the big off road type vehicle, whatever, it appealed to me.

But I have no desire to see a remake of the first Batman that came out when I was in high school. I've seen Jack Nicolaus play the Joker before.

My real beef is that there are some pretty nifty ideas for movies out there, but they keep doing the same old crap.

MOTU and GI Joe both allegedly have movies coming out in 2009/2010. Watch them both end up being horrible.

I didn't have any desire to watch transformers, either. I don't care if they update Optimus Prime as a different type of Semi, or Bumble Bee as an old Camaro, but why did they have to go out of their way to make them all so 'techy' ? The Optimus Prime I grew up with didn't have servos sticking out all over the place, or visible wires hanging all over.

The reason for the new hulk movie was that Marvel wanted to produce it with full creative control. Also they wanted to assure that it would intigrate into the Avengers movie they are working up to with the Hulk being the main "villan" in the avengers movie.

Vince,

The guys here at work gave me funny looks when I laughed out loud. I'm not sure if you planned it, but the reference to " same Bat-time same Bat-channel " had me going.
