i have a 67 6cyl barracuda and a 69 barracuda v8 k member.i've been told there's 4 bolts to take loose to swap. i think there's more to it than that. is it better to swap the whole suspension including tie rods, steering arms, etc? there is a rod leading from k frame to the frame that seems to tie everything together

It should all be the same except for the Kframe and maybe the center link (oil pan clearance). 4bolts for the Kframe, strut rod kinda bars (forgot real name),upper control arms, steering box, torsion bars all have to be unbolted or dissambled.
So yeah a little more than 4 bolts.....

There is a company that makes motor mounts to put a v8 in without changing 6cylinder k frame call mancini racing they can sell you these motor mounts. Randy beep4beep.

thanks for the info! the 67 that we're working on is currently a 6cyl, we found in a local auto trader. the front and back valances are kinda bad and the left front fender will require some patching. other than that we haven't spotted anything else. we have a 340 block that's good and also have a friend that has a complete running 340 out of a 70 cuda that we are considering buying. we plan on a pro touring(which i'm favoring) or a pro street (which my son is favoring) any way i think it will be a nice vehicle.
