i installed some DSE 2" drop leafs today and went for the 1st real spin. it was a 12 mile round trip and the car felt like a new car. :screwy:
it should feel different. a all new suspension and a ls1 and t56 were installed since the last drive
i still have to get some AC lines and detail the engine bay. most of this car is DIY by me so take it easy on me :)
now for the pics.

Car looks great. How long did it take you to do the whole engine swap and all?

thanks for the compliments. This has been a HUGE expense for me. i will have to drive this for the next 3 years to justify it :) poor me, LOL.
the conversion took me about 8 months. i bought a wrecked 99 ls1 and used most if it on this car.
i also swapped a PT style front and rear suspension at the same time.
there are alot of little things that you will never see. like the single two speed fan with both speeds ran off of the computer.
i need to post up some thanks to the people at Prodigy customs, Ricks hot rod tanks, and DSE. there are many more but those folks really worked with me!!

stock lowers with DSE bushings, speed tech uppers, qa1 coil overs, and hotchkis sway bar. it handles like a dream to me!!

Welcome to the club, and congrats on getting to the point of enjoying the fruits of your labor. Is that nitrous plumbed into the intake?

Looks great and sounds like it has satisfied the seat of the pants needs. Very nice work. Don't sell yourself short cause it was DIY. Top notch dude.
Nitrous?? Might as well take advantage of that fuel economy offset right? LOL
Should be alot better than the old motor.
