Got my girlfriend a Mac Mini for her birthday, great little computer. I wrote a "quasi-review" of it on my weblog. I recommend them for anyone looking at getting new computer to use for surfing the net and home use.

Yeah I was going to get one just to play around with if it included their new 64bit processor, but it doesnt.
But still nice little computer. I would not get it though if you plan on upgrading since this is not made for really alot of upgrades.
It looks like she is an apple user, I see the 5 gig ipod.

The mini is quite capable, much faster then the 1.5ghz pIII gateway that it replaced. Not to mention the advantage of no longer running Windows.
That little computer inspired me to put 5k into aapl stock this morning. Hope it works out because the 1966 Chevelle could really use a zz383.

I would say as of recent that investment is pretty good.
After many years apple is doing what consumers have asked for. With the mini, varring ipod versions, and their OS X makes for an interesting future.
My friend was given a new G5 (dual G5 processor) for christmas and lets just say that it does circles around some of the xenon processor comps we have at work.

I use a dual 2 ghz G5 at home and can attest to the fact that it is one fast computer. I used PC's for over a decade, but I don't think I will be switching back anytime soon.
Good buy on apple, especially since it just split. I wish I hadn't sold mine a few years ago when I bought it at 16/share.
I'm a pretty hardcore mac fan, since I've been using them since 1986 (yeah, I'm only 24), and worked for them throughout college. I figured I might have buyers remorse after getting my 40gig iPod color, but I really haven't.
I haven't messed with the mac mini yet, but I bet it's nice, certainly looks good.
