I was looking at a magazing at the store and came across a killer drawing of a C5-63vette .
It was done by a guy named FAST EDDY and i was wondering if anyone had seen it.

IT NEEDS TO BE REALITY ! :hail:

It was in a Tunner mag so it may not have been seen by to many of you- I DONT KNOW WHY I LOOKED IN IT but im glad i did.

Will try to take a picture and post it.

PS here a website for this guy.

It looks like a cross between a 63 and a gen 4 camaro. I like it but that would be a world of glass work. I say slam the body you have as low as possible, put in a LS-7/6sp and a set of Foose wheels. Then when you get tired of it,call me, you know where I live. :naughty:

Ive seen one of those on the Hot Rod Power tour when i went.
I believe its modeled after the 53 vette ( 1st year )
I think you can get a kit to do that conversion too.

So Bill , if i dump 100Gs into building one , can i put you down for the first one ?

Just drop that 63 body (and a truckload of cash) off at Boyd's - they get it done, with scowls of disgust, in about six weeks - and you'll be a TV star!!! J/K Sorry I just couldn't resist!

I gonna be doing some retro-themed composite work like this soon. Of course, I'll be sure to share it with the gang here.

Hey Todd ..
I cant do that , i had my cable disconnected just because of that show .

Now i actually spend more time in the garage getting my cars done than i do being a TV Rat.

And i dont want to be a TV star LOL .... all that high profile can get you in trouble with the IRS .hahaha

Man, that is cool. I've been wondering about the same type of body kits ever since I saw a Z06 locally that's missing the front clip body panels at a local rebuilder lot. A '63 type of kit would be killer!

BTW, Hello Chris from a fellow TGO'er!!!

There is now a "retro" 62 vette available. Also built on a C5 body. Was displayed at SEMA 2004.
