Wasn't sure about those wheels at first.....looked more like a truck style wheel......but i was wrong. That looks awesome!!

Thanks. I had the same concern. I'm hoping they'll look even better with the proper stance. I only wish I had gotten a smaller lip on the fronts so the rears would look even more drastic.

Side note. How much lower should I go?

I'd say 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back would give it a bit of a rake and a nice stance. Maybe a little more than that.

Looks good. I'd agree on lowering the front a tad more than the rear to get a rake on it.

What size are your wheels, also B.S?? Tire Size?

I'm running 5" on the front and 6" on the back. Fronts are 235/40/18 and rears are 295/35/18. My front is stock but I have a shortened 9 inch in the rear.

Thinking about getting rid of the 4 inch cowl when I lower. What do you think?

Agreed.

Didn't think I'd like those wheels but they look good on your car.

either put a smaller cowl, or paint that tall one black.
Put you a black hockey stripe down the side of the car....
If you do not like the idea of any stripes, then just go with a small cowl hood.

Wheels look very nice, and I agree about lowering the cowl. ;)

Loose the cowl if any part of your engine is more than 1 1/2" from the inside of the cowl. If it ain't functional, to me it feels more of a ricer style mod than a Pro touring mod!!!!!

After it's been lowered the fenders will be lower and the cowl hood will look just right.!!!

I don't like the 4 in cowl either. For whatever reason the previous owner decided to install it. It is not necessary or functional at this time. I guess he just liked the look of it. Different strokes I guess.

As for lowering, I have all the parts needed. Just need to clear some weekend time to install.
