I live in metro Atlanta where the roads are often congested, traveled at high speeds, and people are using their cars as rolling phone boths.
I am driving my 1970 Firebird Formula more often and am concerned with the visability of my brake lights, as they are dimmer than modern cars (although working properly), and very low (especially wiht the proliferation of high riding trucks and SUV's the last 30 years or so).
Has anyone installed a generic or other type of third brake light at either the top or bottom of the rear window? If so, what did you use? Searchig the web I only find two on JC Witney (neither looks like a great fit) or you can find "spolier" brake lights and truck third brake lights that would require some type of casing or mounting hardware modifications.
