Anybody have a suggestion as to a paint offered which is a "true silver", no metal flake, just silver.
I'm thinking along the lines of the silver you have out of the "chrome" in a spray bomb can. I checked with my paint supplier and the silver from the spray bomb isn't offered in a gallon or in anything in a can for that fact.
I'm not after a chrome looking paint, just a solid silver that's really deep looking.
thanks,
Mike

Like 2bad4ya says, Mercedes and all the Germans for that matter know silver. Mercedes has one that doesn't even have pigment, just fine metallic and that's it. Check out Merc, Audi, Porsche, VW, and BMW and you'll find a good one.

I've got a silver BMW and that has to be my favorite silver of all time. Mercedes is probably a second... imho
