This is an abandoned race track on the north edge of Carpentersville, IL. The track was open from 1958 - 1969. Never been there, but have driven past it MANY times on Rt 31, which actually is within feet of the track at one point.
Anyone have any history on the track, pictures, videos, etc?
I know of a couple sites with historical info, one of them being www.meadowdale.homestead.com (http://www.meadowdale.homestead.com) or something like that, sorry if I typed it wrong, going from memory here since I can't access that site at work
