Hi all, Just wanted to say hello as I am new to the community! I have always been a protouring fanatic, When I saw Ty Woodhall's Orange peel back in 98 I was hooked. Im currently in the process of searching for a 64-65 ford falcon project car! If anyone has some shots of a protouring style falcon please pass them on as I need some insperation!

Thanks!

And a parting shot of one of my toys

Well first of all welcome to the boards. Go here to see my first pro-touring falcon, 1964 sprint.

It should be completely done in about a month. I have to brag because I feel this will be one of the nicest ones in the country. I did not spare any expense. You have to have patience, money and be prepared for setbacks. Btw, this b**** can run so don't be fooled by the 260 emblems. I'm old school from the 1960's/427 days.

So I can assume you plan on drag racing the car as opposed to a semi daily driver? What motor are you planing to go with?

James, my plan is a small block with a turbo, I have also been contimplating a 03/04 cobra motor. I dont know how much drag racing I will do, but it will definately see and autocross every now and again :headbang:
