Hey, I live in Somerset! The car show here is awesome. It is a truly good time and is really more of a car weekend. Friday night, there is what they call the block party behind Cracker Barrell in the Wal Mart shopping center parking lot. They have basically a mini cruise in with music, usually the rolling radio show one of the local stations does. There are several little car parties to cruise into up and down the main drag. Saturday starts with a cruise to some location usually one of several sights to see within an hour or so drive. Sometimes they go to the local dragstrip about 45 minutes away for some run all you want for $5 type action. Then the actual show or cruise in takes place in down town Somerset where they rope off the entire downtown district for nothing but cars and more cars. We have had as many as 1200+ cars at a cruise in. Of course not all are really slick like on this sight, but there are some pretty awesome rides. The part I like the best is the cruising after the show. Cars flood the main drag as they cruise out in single file and take over the road for an evening of cruising the 6 lane.
